Monthly assistance, in the form of unprepared food, is available to all residents of Goffstown, New Boston, and Dunbarton who request it. Proof of residence is required at every visit. This proof of residence should be a current utility bill, not a driver’s license. No appointment is necessary. Simply come to the pantry (in the Parish House of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, at 7 North Mast Street in Goffstown) during normal pantry hours. We are open Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, and Saturday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 am.
At monthly visits, clients are provided with an assortment of food, based on family size:
- Frozen meat and fish
- Milk, cheese, and eggs
- Pantry staples, such as cereal, soup, beans, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, and juice, as well as ready to eat meals like stew and ravioli
- Fresh items (as available), such as breads, pastries, potatoes, apples, onions, carrots, and other seasonal fruits and vegetables
- Personal care items, such as shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, incontinent briefs and Kleenex
- Laundry soap
- In the summer, local gardeners often donate fresh produce through our Grow-A-Row program.
